How To Manually Clean Brother Print Heads

Make clean the Print Caput from Your Brother Car

To maintain proficient print quality, the car automatically cleans the print head when needed. If at that place is a impress quality problem, start the cleaning process manually.

• Clean the print head if in that location is a horizontal line or a blank space in the text or graphics on printed pages. Depending on the problem color, select to make clean Black simply, iii colours at a time (Xanthous/Cyan/Magenta), or all four colours at once.

2. Printing or to select the following:

   1. Select [ General Setup ]. PressOK.

   2. Select [ Maintenance ]. PressOK.

   3. Select [ Impress Head Cleaning ]. PressOK.

   4. Select [ Blackness only ], [ Color only ], or [ All ]. PressOK.

   5. Select [ Normal ], [ Strong ], or [ Strongest ]. PressOK.

   The machine cleans the impress head.

• If you clean the print head and the print has not improved, attempt installing a new Genuine Brother Brand replacement ink cartridge for each problem colour. Try cleaning the print head again. If the print has not improved, contact Blood brother client service or your local Blood brother dealer.

• You tin can also clean the impress head from your computer.

2. Printing [ Black only ], [ Colour merely ], or [ All ].

3. Press [ Normal ], [ Potent ], or [ Strongest ].

4. Press [ Start ].

   The machine cleans the print head.

• If you clean the impress head and the print has not improved, attempt installing a new Brother Original replacement ink cartridge for each problem color. Try cleaning the impress head again. If the impress has non improved, contact Brother customer service or your local Blood brother dealer.

• You tin can also make clean the print caput from your computer.
