How To Put Netflix On Desktop Windows 10

Howdy,

Thank yous for being a part of Windows ten.

1. Does the issue occur only with Netflix desktop app?
ii. Are you able to use all the other apps from shop?
3. Practise you lot have proxy settings enabled on the computer?

I would suggest y'all to run App troubleshooter.

a. Blazon 'Troubleshooting' in the search side by side to start.
b. Click on 'View All' on left side and select Windows store Apps'.
c. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Hope this helps. Let the states know if you have whatever other issues with Windows in future.

I tried the troubleshooting. It came up with nothing.

For your questions. Yep, it just happens on the Desktop App. Yes, I am able to employ all the other apps from the store. No, I don't take whatever proxy setting enabled on my computer.
Simply Netflix did say a lot of people take called in regarding the aforementioned issue.

Hi, I too take this effect after install of Windows 10 on new buy pc, and similarly accept tried reinstalling, and run Windows ten app trouble-shooter with no results or success. I've tried searching for other sources of support with issue but drawn a bare so far.

Any help or suggestions would exist most welcome - Please!

I am having the aforementioned issue with Netflix app. clean windows ten pro Install. Download Netflix app, run and it just quits after 5 secs. Tried on 2 different PC's, aforementioned outcome.

Yea its most frustrating isn't information technology!

I also cant go Cortana to work either, non sure but I think information technology may be a speech/language upshot. Some of my Speech and language setting are for English UK and some seem to be English Usa and don't seem to be able to fix these. (I'm in Uk.)

I accept the result on a tablet with the app, I have plant that it does work fine using Border, which would atomic number 82 me to believe its an App upshot. Has anyone else tried information technology that way

Same issue here. Fresh install of Windows x yesterday and Netflix starts and goes away inside 5 seconds or so.

Funny affair is I had a fresh install of Windows x on the 29th which dies yesterday morning. Thousands of event viewer errors after installing Movie house 4D. An of import application i use for work. I have not reinstalled it yet. When i had that that install of windows 10, the Netflix app worked perfect. Now its is doing what anybody here is saying.

While testing things out I did find that the Crackle movie app works great..by isolation it appears to be a app issue more and more.

when i run netflix in the browser, it works. if i try to merely click on the app, all i become is sound, no video. just upgraded to windows 10 from 8.ane this morning. worked perfectly before....

What's interesting for me is this:

I did the win10 upgrade (Lenovo Yoga 3).

Netflix App worked cracking immediately after the update.

Later on a few hours, I hit pause on the flick I was watching. Went outside to have a fume.

Came dorsum in and resumed watching. Later on 5-10 seconds of playback, the screen went black, still had audio. If I touched the screen, the video playback came back. One time the toolbar auto-hides again, 5-x seconds of video playback, and then black screen again.

Uninstalled app, restarted machine, and reinstalled app.

Now the app crashes afterwards the initial logo is displayed.

Online chat with Netflix support. They escalated me and said I should receive a telephone call in 6-7 days. :(
